Members of the Department of Orthopedics have extensive experience in the management of patients with osteoarthritis, post-traumatic skeletal problems, avascular necrosis, and the musculoskeletal manifestations of renal disease, soft tissue injures.
On an in-patient and out-patient basis, core services of the department include:
Comprehensive general orthopedics.
The department strives to embrace a multidisciplinary team approach. Department staff members work in collaboration with medical staff including general internists, hematologists, and other internists with other subspecialties as well as with other surgical staff.
Other important components of the broader multidisciplinary team also includes close collaboration with health care professionals including physiotherapists, and other various nursing sectors of the hospital.
